Bakersfield eSports Center ("we," "us") operates the online store at shop.bakersfieldesports.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • You give us: name, email, phone, and order details when you buy a gift card, merch, or pre-order. For gift cards sent as gifts, the information you choose to provide.
  • Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles it. We receive only confirmation and limited details (e.g., last 4 digits, status).
  • Automatically: basic usage and device data via cookies and analytics (see below).

How we use it

  • To process and fulfill your order and gift-card issuance.
  • To email your gift-card code, order confirmations, and pickup notifications.
  • To provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal/accounting obligations.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand site usage and measure advertising. These set cookies and may share limited usage data with Google and Meta. You can opt out via your browser settings, Google's opt-out tools, and your ad-platform preferences.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate (e.g., Stripe for payments, Odoo for store/order management, Google/Meta for analytics). We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard response; we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

Children
